National award for Masters grad

Health care management graduate Simone de Oliveira Louza (MBA (Health)’20, MHthAdmin’20) has been awarded the Anthony Suleau prize by the Australasian College of Health Service Management.

The prize is awarded to the student with the best grade point average in a post graduate diploma course in health management in Australia.

Mrs de Oliveira Louza was formally awarded her prize at the College’s virtual AGM on 27 October. She completed her studies at Flinders University earlier this year and is preparing to commence a new role teaching health management topics at Kaplan Business School.

Mrs de Oliveira Louza says she thoroughly enjoyed the experience of studying at Flinders.

“I had excellent lecturers and access to a fantastic library where I could find everything I needed to learn, do my assessments, and do further research to satisfy my curiosity about other topics as well.

“I would say what I liked the most were the workshops held at Victoria Square and the Central Library at Bedford Park.”
