A power outage will impact South Ridge buildings on Saturday, there are access changes to the Health Sciences building, plus bus stop repairs.

South Ridge power outage

On Saturday 26 September, a power outage will impact buildings on South Ridge. In most cases, doors will be locked and lifts will not be operational during the power outage. Please plan ahead to work or study from an alternative location on the day.

Works to Health Sciences building and Health Sciences Lecture Theatre Complex

Access changes are in place for the Health Sciences (HS) building and Health Sciences Lecture Theatre Complex (HSLTC), with works underway to replace Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) at building entrances to improve safety and compliance.

Over the coming months, works will occur in stages with building access changing for each stage. Stage 1 works, which has closed the level 3 HS bridge and altered access to the Accessible Path, will continue until Wednesday 30 September.

Stage 2 works will take place from Monday 28 September and will close the level 3 HS foyer (adjacent to lift doors and stairwell).

All floors of the HS building can still be accessed. Please follow directions on signage and stay out of the works exclusion zones until all stages of works conclude in December.

Until 27 October, the Health Sciences Boardroom (3.33) will not be available for normal use as it will serve as a temporary entry and exit point during building works.

Bus stop repairs

Until Friday 2 October, the bus stop on the eastern side of University Drive will undergo repair works. Adelaide Metro has established a temporary bus stop closer to the car park 1 exit lanes, with buses operating as usual during this time. Please proceed with caution when exiting the car park.
