{"id":10499,"date":"2018-07-24T13:37:29","date_gmt":"2018-07-24T04:07:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/fit\/?p=10499"},"modified":"2018-07-24T16:35:04","modified_gmt":"2018-07-24T07:05:04","slug":"flinders-leads-digital-dramatic-arts-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/fit\/2018\/07\/24\/flinders-leads-digital-dramatic-arts-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Flinders leads digital and screen success + free tickets!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Flinders can again boast success in the highly acclaimed international digital design awards <a href=\"https:\/\/humanitiesartssocialsciences.cmail20.com\/t\/r-l-jjewjd-uluyhhitlj-c\/\">The Rookies<\/a>, with several Flinders\/ CDW students announced among the winners of the 2018 competition.<\/p>\n<p>Aden Beaver won an internship at the internationally-leading visual effects company Method Studios, Emma Wittwer and Ryan Mugan won scholarships at the online school CG spectrum, with Emma also winning a scholarship with Rising Sun Pictures and UniSA. The official school results for The Rookies will be released in August and Flinders is hoping to take home a title for the second year in a row.<\/p>\n<p>The wins come amid news of high achievements from Flinders University\u2019s Creative Arts (screen) graduates, including:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stephanie Jaclyn<\/strong> (2015, BCA (Screen)) who received a $9930 Carclew development grant and $3950 funding from the Helpmann Academy to create a short \u201cdrama mystery\u201d film project <em>Wake<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rachael Wegener<\/strong> (2004, BCom; 2007, BA; 2008, BCreatArts (Hons, Screen)) who was recently announced as a Screen Producers Australia \u20182018 Ones To Watch\u2019.
