{"id":11572,"date":"2019-03-05T10:41:49","date_gmt":"2019-03-05T00:11:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/fit\/?p=11572"},"modified":"2019-03-05T10:41:49","modified_gmt":"2019-03-05T00:11:49","slug":"helping-students-make-career-connections","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/fit\/2019\/03\/05\/helping-students-make-career-connections\/","title":{"rendered":"Helping students make career connections"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Flinders\u2019 Careers and Employability Service is hosting annual Joblink Summits during March and April to connect students and recent graduates with industry partners and foster meaningful conversations about future employment and career options.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018summit format\u2019 was introduced in 2018, replacing the old-fashioned \u2018career expo\u2019 model, to allow potential employers to address all attendees in a conference-style format before hosting smaller information sessions with interested students.<\/p>\n<p>Joblink Summits are highly relevant to penultimate and final year students and recent graduates.
