Feedback from graduates disappointed at missing their formal graduation ceremony has inspired a creative way of marking the occasion \u2013 virtual photos with the VC.<\/p>\n
As an antidote to challenges of this semester, Flinders is delivering a special graduation memory to graduates \u2013 they\u2019re being encouraged to submit their favourite or fun photos of themselves via Facebook, and the University\u2019s photoshop whiz-kids will do their magic and add in the Vice-Chancellor.<\/p>\n
In an email to graduates Callista Thillou, Executive Director, Alumni & Advancement said \u201cWe really want to give the VC a workout, so we want your most creative, quirky (but family-friendly) photos. We\u2019ll Photoshop as many as we can, in as many fun ways as we can imagine, then release them for you to share with the world!\u201d<\/p>\n
The technical wizardry will take place this Thursday 30 April from 12-2.30pm, when Professor Stirling will be locked in a room with a photographer, a photoshop team and one goal\u2026 to put him in as many photos as possible in two and a half hours!<\/p>\n
The virtual snaps are the brainchild of OCME staff member Terry Webb, who thought it would be a great way to congratulate graduates until such time as the University can celebrate in a formal manner when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.<\/p>\n
