Flinders International, in conjunction with StudyAdelaide, welcomed a group of 44 interstate-based International Recruitment partners to campus for an agent familiarisation visit on Monday 16 May 2022.<\/p>\n

Flinders International played host to interstate based international agents on 16 May.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The agents enjoyed seeing the University\u2019s state-of-the-art facilities and campuses across several jam-packed days. Attendees were able to engage directly with students, staff, and academics \u2013 gaining real-time experience in the same way that our students learn.<\/p>\n

MBA Director Carla Dias Wadewitz<\/a> and Senior Lecturer (Teaching Specialist) Accounting Dr Michelle Yeong<\/a> took these guests through highlights of Flinders’ new MBA offerings<\/a>, with Dr Voula Gaganis<\/a> \u2013 Medical Science Programs Course Coordinator, Senior Lecturer (Teaching Specialist) \u2013 speaking about the refreshed Bachelor of Medical Science<\/a> and Bachelor of Medical Science (Laboratory Medicine) courses.<\/p>\n

Later in the week, the group was joined by a further 28 Adelaide-based recruitment partners for tours of The Void at Bedford Park, and Line Zero at our Tonsley Campus. The International Recruitment team made several exciting announcements including the launch of our pathways entity and new campus builds.<\/p>\n

The group also toured Flinders’ new city presence, Festival Tower<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Highlights of the group’s CBD activities during the week included a site visit to check on progress at Festival Plaza and a tour of The Switch – the new Flinders-partnered city student accommodation building situated on North Terrace within walking distance of the new city campus in Festival Tower and the Adelaide Railway Station.<\/p>\n

Matt Schultz, Director Flinders International, says this agent familiarisation tour is timely.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur Education Agent networks are crucial to international student recruitment, and it was absolutely fantastic to have a series of successful events that highlighted all the incredible work our students and staff are contributing to at Flinders \u2013 and our upwards trajectory in new campuses and future connectivity,” says Mr Schultz.<\/p>\n

“It has been two and a half years since we were able to host our partners in a face-to-face capacity, and the feedback that I\u2019ve already received from some of the agents has been exceptional. I\u2019m pleased that we were able to put together an informative and engaging program, and let our agents and prospective students know Flinders is continuing to invest not only in their education but their whole university experience.<\/p>\n
