To share the wisdom of Flinders University’s Elders on Campus, the Office of Indigenous Strategy and Engagement invites all members of the Flinders University community to attend this year’s Padninthiyangga Ngadluku Purkgku: Walking with Our Elders<\/a> to hear their \u2018Stories of Empowerment \u2013 Small actions, big impacts\u2019.<\/p>\n Join Uncle Lewis Yarlupurka O\u2019Brien (Kaurna Elder, Bedford Park), Uncle Richard \u2018Balang\/Japaljarri\u2019 Fejo, (Larrakia Elder, Darwin), and Aunty Pat Miller (Arrernte Elder, Alice Springs) as they share their stories explaining actions, advice and shared wisdom that made a difference or informed people for their future.<\/p>\n This year’s Padninthiyangga Ngadluku Purkgku: Walking with Our Elders event will be held in person and streamed online, including a live display on the Super Screen in the Plaza. The full event discussion will also be recorded for those unable to attend on the day.<\/p>\n For in-person attendees, light refreshments will be provided before the event, from 1.30pm. Online participants can join soon before the event start at 2pm. The event will conclude at 3.30pm. A link will be sent prior to the event to those who register for online access.<\/p>\n
