{"id":22800,"date":"2024-04-23T09:07:21","date_gmt":"2024-04-22T23:37:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/fit\/?p=22800"},"modified":"2024-04-23T09:07:21","modified_gmt":"2024-04-22T23:37:21","slug":"cyber-security-training-to-keep-you-secure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/fit\/2024\/04\/23\/cyber-security-training-to-keep-you-secure\/","title":{"rendered":"Cyber security training to keep you secure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of Flinders University\u2019s ongoing response to growing cyber security threats, a new Cyber Security Awareness Training program is being made available to all staff.<\/p>\n<p>This is an update and expands on the program previously provided by Phriendly Phishing.<\/p>\n<p>During April, the focus is on \u2018Keeping secure\u2019 and will cover topics including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Security foundations.<\/li>\n<li>Training on social engineering and how this affects your online safety.<\/li>\n<li>Rules to help you keep secure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>New training modules will be released in Canvas each month, providing helpful information, tips and tricks that will keep you and the university community safe and secure.<\/p>\n<p>To access the training modules, please:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u202fLog into OKTA and select the \u201c<strong>FLO &#8211;<\/strong> <strong>Flinders Learning Online (Canvas)<\/strong>\u201d tile.<\/li>\n<li>On your Canvas dashboard, select \u2018<strong><em>Cyber security basics for staff 2024\u2019<\/em><\/strong> which will take you to the full training program.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you have any questions related to this training, please phone the IDS Service Desk on 8201 2345 or email <a href=\"mailto:ciso@flinders.edu.au\">ciso@flinders.edu.au<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of Flinders University\u2019s ongoing response to growing cyber security threats, a new Cyber Security Awareness Training program is being made available to all staff.
