Thomas\u2019s presentation titled \u2018Music is Magical\u2019 impressed the judges and saw him win the top prize of $2000. Thomas will progress to the <a href=\"https:\/\/threeminutethesis.uq.edu.au\/asia-pac-3mt-semi-final-showcase)\">Asia-Pacific 3MT Final<\/a> later this year and represent Flinders University.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to our runner-up Tharin Sayed from the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work and our People\u2019s Choice winner Benjamin Boyle from the College of Science and Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>You can read more about this year\u2019s finalists <a href=\"https:\/\/students.flinders.edu.au\/my-course\/hdr\/development\/three-minute-thesis\/2024-finalists\">here<\/a> and videos of the finalists will be available on the 3MT website shortly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to Thomas Beltrame from the College of Science and Engineering for winning the 2024 3MT Competition!
