Ambassador Jeff Bleich, former Special Counsel to President Barack Obama and former US Ambassador to Australia, dropped in to Flinders’ City Campus for a special luncheon, hosted by Flinders University’s Jeff Bleich Centre for Democracy and Disruptive Technologies.<\/p>\n

Following an opening address by Vice-Chancellor Professor Colin Stirling<\/strong><\/a>, Ambassador Bleich delivered a keynote address about the importance of the upcoming presidential election, further explaining how divided the United States is along partisan lines, and how close the results of the election are likely to be.\u00a0Ambassador Bleich also shared significant insights on what may happen if Donald Trump emerges victorious and what a Kamala Harris victory might look like instead.<\/p>\n

The luncheon was a part of Ambassador Bleich’s visit to South Australia, where he joined Professor Stirling and Professor Praino for meetings with Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, the South Australian Premier the Hon. Peter Malinauskas and the Opposition Leader the Hon. Vincent Tarzia MP.<\/p>\n
