This week’s campus updates include works to steps and footpaths across Bedford Park, grounds staff in Central Park and planned non-essential power outages.<\/p>\n
Footpath works<\/strong><\/p>\n Works on steps and footpaths are taking place around Bedford Park this week. On Wednesday 12 February, take extra care if you use car park 4 or the path between Social Sciences North\/Social Sciences buildings. To repair the stair landings on the path (adjacent Pendopo), the stairs will be closed and pedestrian diversions will be in place. Please be aware of contractors and take additional care moving through this area.<\/p>\n Grounds staff in Central Park<\/strong><\/p>\n This Friday our grounds staff will be tidying up around the southern end of Central Park (adjacent to the Education building). They\u2019ll be managing fallen vegetation, leaving larger material for native animal habitat and using any woodchips on-site. There will be some noise associated with this work.<\/p>\n In the event of a total fire ban, work will be rescheduled to next week.<\/p>\n Planned non-essential power outages at FMC<\/strong><\/p>\n On Thursday 13 and Tuesday 18 February, SA Health has planned non-essential power outages with timings that vary across buildings.
