Students can access two custom designed AI-powered academic support tools 24\/7 directly from the Course navigation menu in their FLO topics: Feedback Buddy and Study Buddy. Staff will be assisted to set up assessments using appropriate design templates through the Cadmus learning technology.<\/p>\n<p>We encourage all teaching and academic staff to familiarise themselves with the functionality and pedagogical implications of these tools. We will be running a series of workshops about Cadmus on <strong>Tuesday 18 November<\/strong> to assist with familiarising staff with the new platform.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Information for Educators and<\/strong> Academic<strong> Staff<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We are pleased to introduce a new approach to student academic support with the launch of three new embedded learning technologies:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students <\/strong>can access two custom designed AI-powered academic support tools 24\/7 directly from the Course navigation menu in their FLO topics: Feedback Buddy and Study Buddy.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>These tools leverage the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence and are designed to provide students with timely, flexible, and effective academic assistance across a range of disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Study Buddy offers 24\/7 support for writing, referencing, statistics, and study planning.<\/li>\n<li>Feedback Buddy enables students to submit drafts and receive near-instant, AI-generated feedback, with the opportunity to follow up for further clarification or discussion.<\/li>\n<li>These tools are underpinned by resources from Student Learning and Support Services, ensuring the guidance provided aligns with Flinders\u2019 academic standards and expectations. This alignment supports educators in maintaining consistency and relevance in the advice students receive.<\/li>\n<li>Please note, at present, students should submit draft assignments as PDFs.
