The rankings were decided using publicly available information to determine an impact score based on research output across 250 fields of research, with the score designed to reward research quality, impact and volume. The award recognises impactful research tackling global ecological challenges. The project dubbed &#8216;MegaMove&#8217; brought together 400 researchers from around the world, including Flinders&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/staff.flinders.edu.au\/staff-directory\/staff-directory-person-details?SD_UserID=624787825\"> Professor Charlie Huveneers<\/a> from the Southern Shark Ecology Group, to combine satellite tracking data of more than 100 species to map key areas of the ocean used for feeding, breeding and migration. This research, published in <em>Science<\/em>, is one of the most comprehensive global efforts to date to understand how marine megafauna use the ocean. The Council is the collective voice of Australian university business schools, representing 38 institutions that educate 16% of Australia\u2019s domestic students and 39% of international students.
