The second South Australian Aboriginal Health Research Accord was signed on 17 June marking\u00a0another significant step forward for Aboriginal health research in South Australia.<\/p>\n

Developed through consultation with Aboriginal researchers and communities, the Accord sets clear principles for how research should be conducted- centred on partnership, respect, cultural knowledge, and tangible community benefit.<\/p>\n

By prioritising community voice, shared decision-making, and real-world impact, the Accord is shaping a more ethical and effective future for health outcomes in South Australia.<\/p>\n

The signing event was attended by Professor Raymond Chan<\/a> – Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), Dr Rebecca Bilton<\/a> – Program and Research Director, College of Health and Enablement, Professor Gillian Caughey<\/a>, Professor Simone Ulalka Tur<\/a> – Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous), and Associate Professor Courtney Ryder<\/a> –\u00a0 Matthew Flinders Fellow and Associate Professor in Public Health, Indigenous Health.<\/p>\n
