Review the security checklist before you travel and help keep Flinders information secure while on the go.<\/p>\n<p>Travel smart and stay alert by keeping your devices close, protecting sensitive information, and being mindful of who may be watching or listening in airports, hotels, caf\u00e9s and on public transport.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure you stay cyber safe when travelling, be sure to follow this checklist:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Limit the amount of information you carry and don\u2019t take devices that are not necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid using public computers and public Wi-Fi.<\/li>\n<li>Use the\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/staff.flinders.edu.au\/workplace-support\/digital-services\/network-access#remote\">Flinders Virtual Private Network (VPN)<\/a> if you are required to access any sensitive information.<\/li>\n<li>Lock your devices and store them securely. Never leave them unattended in public places.<\/li>\n<li>Do not put laptops and devices in checked baggage.
