SALHN Medical Education registrars have developed a short call lecture series for Year 4 students and the MD and TMOU are ensuring that all students on clinical placements are provided with appropriate PPE and access to RATs to comply with SA Health and SALHN guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Flinders congratulates <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flinders.edu.au\/people\/kirrily.holton\" data-emb-href-display=\"www.flinders.edu.au\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.flinders.edu.au\/people\/kirrily.holton\">Dr Kirrily Holton<\/a><\/strong> (BMBS&#8217;05, GradCertClinEd&#8217;18) on her recent appointment as SALHN Director Clinical Training. Kirrily is a valued member of the Clinical Advisory\u00a0Group (CAG) and a highly respected clinical placement supervisor in SALHN Rehabilitation Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>We also thank outgoing Director, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flinders.edu.au\/people\/christine.burdeniuk\" data-emb-href-display=\"www.flinders.edu.au\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.flinders.edu.au\/people\/christine.burdeniuk\">A\/Prof Christine Burdeniuk<\/a><\/strong> (Flinders BMBS&#8217;00), for her contributions to the MD, sharing insights\u00a0and guidance as a member of the\u00a0Medical Program Board and\u00a0developing\u00a0intern shadowing opportunities\u00a0for MD4 students.<\/p>\n<p>We look forward\u00a0to our continued\u00a0partnership with Kirrily, Dr Diana Lawrence, Medical Education Registrars and TMOU; working together to ensure\u00a0that Flinders MD graduates are prepared for internship and beyond.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Internship preparedness is a Flinders MD priority, progressing well in partnership with the SALHN Trainee Medical Officer Unit (TMOU).
