{"id":748,"date":"2023-09-19T11:42:55","date_gmt":"2023-09-19T02:12:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/flinders-medical-program\/?p=748"},"modified":"2023-09-26T19:59:52","modified_gmt":"2023-09-26T10:29:52","slug":"flinsafe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/flinders-medical-program\/2023\/09\/19\/flinsafe\/","title":{"rendered":"FlinSafe &#8211; safety on campus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>FlinSafe<\/strong> is the Work Health and Safety reporting and data management system used by Flinders University.<\/p>\n<p>Non-staff including academic status holders, contractors or others can access the <a href=\"https:\/\/flinsafe.powerappsportals.com\/flindersecportal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FlinSafe Public portal<\/a> to report accident \/ incidents or near miss.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/flinsafe.powerappsportals.com\/flindersecportal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-749 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/flinders-medical-program\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/108\/2023\/09\/Flinsafe.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"849\" height=\"530\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/flinders-medical-program\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/108\/2023\/09\/Flinsafe.jpg 849w, https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/flinders-medical-program\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/108\/2023\/09\/Flinsafe-300x187.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/flinders-medical-program\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/108\/2023\/09\/Flinsafe-768x479.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 849px) 100vw, 849px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>FlinSafe is used to report accident\/ incidents for Flinders University activities or sites only.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some examples include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accident \/ Incident on a Flinders University campus, including teaching facilities located on non-Flinders University premises for example Flinders Medical Centre (FMC).<\/li>\n<li>Flinders Student injured on work placements.<\/li>\n<li>Accident \/ incidents that Involves Flinders Staff and \/ or students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>*** Please add the injured person as the first person to the incident when reporting. ***<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Persons employed by other organisations should also report incident\/ accident to their employer (dual-reporting).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports not for FlinSafe include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Non-Flinders University location (and does not involve any Flinders staff and\/ or students).
