CRH Topic Coordinator, Sally Foxley receives 2015 CranaPlus Award

In October 2015, Centre for Remote Health (CRH) Topic Coordinator for Postgraduate Nursing Studies, Sally Foxley received the 2015 CranaPlus award for Excellence in Education/Research in Remote Health.

Sally’s nominator spoke of her as a dedicated and professional nurse and midwife, who is committed to improving Indigenous health outcomes through education, putting great emphasis on ensuring nurses are appropriately prepared for their work in a remote setting.

The award recognises Sally’s diligent efforts to ensure lecturers for various subjects are grounded in the remote context whilst working to ensure students are exposed to best practice adult education methods.

Sally is enthusiastic and accessible to all her students ensuring they have the best possible preparation and support for their future roles.
