Pathways to Medicine in the Northern Territory

The Charles Darwin University Open Day was held on Sunday 18 August 2019 where the Flinders NT staff promoted the Flinders NT Medical Program (NTMP) pathways to Medicine in the Northern Territory. The day was very successful and well attended, with many enquiries about the NTMP and its pathways.

The Flinders NT Medical Program provides three pathways to studying Medicine in the Northern Territory which are:

  • Graduate Entry Pathway
  • Indigenous Entry Stream which is available to Indigenous graduates who wish to study medicine either in Adelaide or in the Northern Territory.
  • Undergraduate: Year 12 students and school leavers who have not completed more than 12 months of undergraduate studies can apply. The Bachelor of Clinical Sciences/Doctor of Medicine includes two years based at Charles Darwin University and then the four-year Flinders MD
