Please be advised of the following changes to the Digital Platform Services team in Digital Platforms & Operations.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Revised Team Structure<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Digital Platform Services team structure has been revised to an activity focused structure, with clearly defined responsibilities for support, initiatives and technologies (as highlighted in the attached document).\u00a0 The new structure also delivers a technical resource pool (including product Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)), that are engaged to work on support, initiatives and new technologies as directed, which enables an agile approach to service delivery.<\/p>\n

The activity focused responsibilities are as follows:<\/p>\n

Digital Platform Support Team Leader, David Dickinson<\/a> (acting)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Support Team Leader is responsible for Business as Usual (BAU) activity including incidents, work requests and housekeeping. David Dickinson is the point of contact for BAU activity and escalations and oversees Digital Platform Services recovery effort for Class 1 incidents. BAU services is Digital Platform’s priority work, and David is ensuring the demands for BAU services are met.<\/p>\n

Digital Platform\u00a0Initiatives Team Leader,\u00a0Sean McEvoy<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Initiatives Team Leader is\u00a0responsible for delivery of Digital Platforms operational initiatives that support sustainability and innovation.\u00a0 Sean is the\u00a0point of engagement for customers with new requests,\u00a0requirements,\u00a0concepts and\u00a0ideas; and coordinates the\u00a0delivery of Digital Platform Services activity for\u00a0business initiatives and projects.\u00a0 Sean ensures the\u00a0right Digital Platform Services SMEs and technical\u00a0staff\u00a0are assigned to\u00a0assist with the\u00a0delivery of change.<\/p>\n

Digital Platform Technology\u00a0Team Leader,\u00a0Adrian Mutton<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Technology Team Leader is responsible for the on-premise and cloud technologies, including overseeing the technology strategy, product architecture, directions and road maps. Adrian coordinates the evaluation and selection of new technologies and engages the right Digital Platform Services’ SMEs to assist with delivery.\u00a0 Adrian also delivers and coordinates the staff training and development plan, and ensures that the technical standards, guidelines and documentation are being maintained.<\/p>\n

Please provide Sean, Adrian and David with your support in their revised roles.<\/p>\n

Database Support\u00a0Handover<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Commencing Monday the 13th May 2019, Digital Platform Services will take responsibility for the Database Administrators from Business Systems (Chris Simmons team).\u00a0 The DBAs work activity will be aligned to the revised Digital Platform Services team structure of\u00a0support, initiatives and technology (as summarised above).\u00a0For DBA\u00a0support work, please continue to raise Assyst tickets (noting major incidents or urgent requests should also be raised with David Dickinson,\u00a0the Support Team Leader), and for initiatives or project activity, please engage Sean McEvoy at the initial point of contact.<\/p>\n

A big welcome to\u00a0Priya Dodda<\/a> and Abdul\u00a0Samad<\/a> into the\u00a0Digital Platform Services team.<\/p>\n
