It has just been confirmed by the demolition contractor involved in the redevelopment of the School of Medicine area, that asbestos removal to the Medical Library entry corridor will take place next Saturday 4th June, which will necessitate the closure of the Medical library for that 1 day.

Asbestos removal will continue on Sunday, but this should not affect use of the library as it involves an area further down the corridor, which will be securely screened off. The Medical Library will re-open on Sunday June 5th at 11 a.m.
