Flinders University Journal Editors Community of Practice – 2021 Annual Meeting & Discussion Seminar

What:

Initially founded in 2016, the JE-CoP is a community of staff and affiliates of Flinders University who are academic journal editors and peer-reviewers or who have an interest in the area.
After a quiet period, we are rebooting the JE-COP, starting with an annual meeting and the first of bi-annual discussion seminars relevant to journal editors.
This first discussion seminar will be presented by Associate Librarian for Engagement and Scholarly Communication Liz Walkley Hall and Honorary Senior Research Fellow Gillian Dooley, who will present on the Open Journal System (OJS), including how to set up your own academic journal here at Flinders University.

When:

Wednesday, 21st July, 2021

  • 1100-1130 – Annual Meeting*
  • 1130-1230 – Discussion Seminar – OJS*
  • Afterwards – Lunch (Optional)
Where:

Meeting & Discussion Seminar: Noel Stockdale Room, Level 1, Central Library, Flinders University or online via Collaborate.
Lunch: Burger Theory
