Flinders University staff will enjoy an extended break in the lead-up to Christmas and in the New Year.

Library staff will go on leave at 5pm on Friday 17 December 2021. Below is a summary of our services from then until the second week of January.

From 5pm Friday 17 December 2021 

24/7 Access

• Access to online resources will be available 24/7 for current students and staff via FindIt.
• Central and Sturt Libraries (study spaces, wifi, PCs and print collections) will be accessible 24/7 for current students and staff with University swipe card access. (If your ID card does not open the door, please contact University Security on 820 12880 —  or go to the Security Office on the Central Plaza, just below the Central Library entrance.)
• Access to the Medical Library will be available 24/7 with SAHLN card access.

From Tuesday 4 January 2022

A small team of Library staff will return from leave on Tuesday 4 January 2022. General phone, email and online chat support will resume 9am-5pm on that day. They will be based at Central and Sturt branches which will open to the public 9am to 5pm Tuesday 4-7 January 2022.

All 24/7 access will remain in place for current students and staff.

From Monday 10 January 2022

Most University staff will return from leave on Monday 10 January 2022 when full operation of staffed services will resume Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
