Silent study room trial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1382\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2010\/05\/sssh.jpg\" alt=\"sssh\" width=\"150\" height=\"149\" \/>Central Library is providing a <strong>Silent Study Room<\/strong> with PCs on a trial basis for the remainder of the 2010 academic year.  This is <strong>Room 1.65 on Level 1<\/strong>, near the Microfilm Collection. It includes 10 PCs.<\/p>\n<p>Students are encouraged to use this room for individual silent study on the understanding that there is:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tNo group work<br \/>\n\u2022\tNo discussion<br \/>\n\u2022\tNo noise from headphones or websites<br \/>\n\u2022\tNo mobile phone usage within 10 metres of the room<\/p>\n<p>Library staff will regularly monitor the room. People not respecting these guidelines will be asked to leave.<\/p>\n<p>The Library reserves the right to book this room for occasional classes.
