{"id":886,"date":"2009-11-25T14:10:29","date_gmt":"2009-11-25T04:40:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/library\/?p=886"},"modified":"2009-11-25T14:10:29","modified_gmt":"2009-11-25T04:40:29","slug":"temporary-relocation-of-services-in-central-library","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/library\/2009\/11\/25\/temporary-relocation-of-services-in-central-library\/","title":{"rendered":"Temporary relocation of services in Central Library"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-899\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2009\/11\/under-construction1.png\" alt=\"under-construction1\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>The Central Library Redevelopment project will commence from next week.<strong> From Monday 30th November until semester 1, 2010, <\/strong>the following Library Services &amp; Collections will be relocated to level 0 of the Library (Plaza level):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Borrow Here Desk (Book Loans and Returns)<\/li>\n<li>Ask Here Desk (Information and Assistance)<\/li>\n<li>FLO Help Desk<\/li>\n<li>ID Cards and Multimedia<\/li>\n<li>Readings Collection<\/li>\n<li>Reference Collection<\/li>\n<li>New Books and Current Journals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/library.flinders.edu.au\/services\/sublib\/sublibs.html\">Central Library Liaison Librarians<\/a> will be located throughout the Central Library. They may be contacted by email, phone or at the temporary <em>Ask Here<\/em> desk<\/li>\n<li>The ID card counter will be closed from 4.45pm Thursday 26 November until Monday 30th November<\/li>\n<li>The 24hr Computing Lab will be <strong>closed for the duration of the redevelopment<\/strong> from 10.00pm Thursday 26th November<\/li>\n<li>Some study areas on level 0 will be unavailable from 10pm Thursday 26th November<\/li>\n<li>No Library foyer\/external exhibitions will be held from 23 November 2009 until March 2010<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During this redevelopment, the <strong>entrance to the library will be from the Plaza, via door next to Unibooks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>All effort is being made to do this as quietly as possible. We realise, however, that there will be some noise on Levels 0 and 1 and loss of access to computers and services on Level 1. The Library wishes to apologise in advance for any inconvenience this causes.
