The Medical Device Research Institute (MDRI) is pleased to host a seminar by invited guest and international biomechanics expert, Prof Dawn Elliott, Professor and Founding Chair Biomedical Engineering, University of Delaware.

Multi-scale mechanics and multi-modal imaging of fibrous soft tissues

Prof Elliott is with the MDRI at Flinders University from mid-July to mid-August, as part of Flinders University’s Visiting International Research Fellowship. During her visit, Prof Elliott is collaborating with A/Prof John Costi, significantly building the collaboration between Flinders and University of Delaware. Both Prof Elliott and A/Prof Costi are leading researchers in the field of disc mechanics.
