Congratulations to Air Commodore (AIRCDRE) Tracy Smart on her promotion to Air Vice Marshal and posting into the dual positions of Command Joint Health (CJHLTH) and Surgeon General of the Australian Defence Force (SGADF) to take effect from December 2015.  Currently the Director General Strategic Health Coordination/Director General Air Force Health Services, AIRCDRE Tracy Smart will soon become the highest ranked Medical Officer in the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

As the CJHLTH, AIRCDRE Tracy Smart will be responsible for the provision of health care to members of the ADF and, from the health perspective, the preparedness of the ADF for operations. As SGADF she will be responsible for providing strategic health advice to the ADF and technical oversight of operational health across the ADF.
