Aboriginal Health Fair Day in Murray Bridge

Last Friday Rural and Remote Health SA were thrilled to join Moorundi for their annual Aboriginal Health Fair Day in Murray Bridge and we were lucky with the weather, rain stopped and everyone enjoyed the sunshine.

With a health focus throughout the day, there were fun activities for children, great Aboriginal music and stallholders including the Aboriginal Health Council, Carers SA, Fight the Bite, Nunkuwarren Yunti SA, Headspace, art and crafts and a very popular native animal and reptile stall.

There was a steady flow of interest at our gold Flinders tent where we shared information about the diverse range of health courses offered, pathways to university and scholarships. Visitors were also interested in other areas of study, including archaeology, law, sciences and one year nine student who is passionate about becoming a doctor.
