{"id":1371,"date":"2023-03-24T10:39:36","date_gmt":"2023-03-24T00:09:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/mph-news\/?p=1371"},"modified":"2023-03-24T10:40:20","modified_gmt":"2023-03-24T00:10:20","slug":"flinders-rural-and-remote-health-sa-at-south-east-field-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/mph-news\/2023\/03\/24\/flinders-rural-and-remote-health-sa-at-south-east-field-days\/","title":{"rendered":"Flinders Rural and Remote Health SA at South East Field Days"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Flinders Rural and Remote Health SA attended the South East Field Days at Lucindale on March 17 &amp; 18.<\/p>\n<p>Other universities attending were the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia, as well as private schools from around Adelaide also among the 500 exhibitors.<\/p>\n<p>GGT MDRS students attended both days, enjoyed engaging with visitors and interacted with some, showing them how to take blood pressure, listen to their heart, and test knee reflexes.<\/p>\n<p>Engagements with visitors to the stall were meaningful and covered all areas of studying at Flinders from courses, to scholarships, and Flinders living. The team trialed a tracking questionnaire via QR code to determine rural area and study area of interest.<\/p>\n<p><em>The RRHSA team really appreciated the knowledge and support from student recruitment pathways team member Travis whose knowledge and networks were invaluable.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Flinders Rural and Remote Health SA attended the South East Field Days at Lucindale on March 17 &amp; 18.
