{"id":1659,"date":"2023-08-17T17:01:35","date_gmt":"2023-08-17T07:31:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/mph-news\/?p=1659"},"modified":"2023-08-18T08:48:42","modified_gmt":"2023-08-17T23:18:42","slug":"rural-and-remote-health-at-open-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/mph-news\/2023\/08\/17\/rural-and-remote-health-at-open-days\/","title":{"rendered":"Rural and Remote Health at Open Days"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Rural and Remote Health team really enjoyed being part of Bedford Park Open Days last week, with Jacqui travelling up from Mt Gambier and Elspeth down from the Riverland.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our distinctly rural stand certainly caught the eye and it was wonderful to have many country families and prospective students visit and speak to staff and current students about the MD Rural Stream and other courses that include rural placements.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1661 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/mph-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/79\/2023\/08\/Staff-and-Students-2-300x255.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"255\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/mph-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/79\/2023\/08\/Staff-and-Students-2-300x255.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/mph-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/79\/2023\/08\/Staff-and-Students-2-768x652.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/mph-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/79\/2023\/08\/Staff-and-Students-2.jpg 904w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Fourth year medical students who spent their third year in one of our four regions enthusiastically shared their experiences and different pathways to medicine.
