Flinders Rural and Remote Health SA operates in rural and remote communities that are geographically and culturally diverse. Effective partnerships are vital to building their capacity, and to ensure that local knowledge is incorporated into our activities.<\/p>\n
The FRRHSA Community Partnership Grant is one way in which we are investing in rural communities. This year, we were thrilled that thirteen successful community groups across our Flinders rural footprint received funding to invest in their community projects.<\/p>\n
The aims of the grant are:
\n\u2022 To build the health and wellbeing in a rural community
\n\u2022 To assist in improving education of a rural community
\n\u2022 To engage the community more effectively with staff and students who study and work at local rural campuses
\n\u2022 To develop a program to deliver an activity of benefit to the community<\/p>\n
