On 18\u00a0and 19\u00a0May 2016 the project team<b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b>convened in Adelaide to discuss directions for the research. The meetings were followed by a policy forum on 19\u00a0May entitled \u2018Health and Wellbeing as Whole of Society concerns\u2019. During the forum <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpool.ac.uk\/psychology-health-and-society\/staff\/margaret-whitehead\/\">Professor Dame Margaret Whitehead<\/a> (University of Liverpool) shared experiences about intersectoral action from the European context, focussing on how social welfare reforms contributed to and detracted from health and wellbeing in the context of austerity measures. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/research\/cusp\/people\/index.cfm\/D.Marinova\">Professor Dora Marinova\u00a0<\/a> (Curtin University) also spoke about the connections between environment policy and the promotion of health and wellbeing, focussing particularly on the environmental and health impacts of agricultural production.
