World Congress on Public Health in Melbourne, with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flinders.edu.au\/people\/fran.baum\">Prof. Fran Baum, <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flinders.edu.au\/people\/anna.ziersch\">A\/Prof. Anna Ziersch<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flinders.edu.au\/people\/toni.delanycrowe\">Dr. Toni Delany-Crowe<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flinders.edu.au\/people\/sara.javanparast\">Dr. Sara Javanparast <\/a>from the Institute attending and presenting, including a panel session on Southgate\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flinders.edu.au\/medicine\/sites\/southgate\/research\/health-equity-and-policy\/hiap.cfm\"><u>Health In All Policies<\/u>\u00a0<\/a> research.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Fran Baum participated in the World Leadership Dialogue \u201cPolitics, policies and processes: Advancing complex policy agendas \u2013 the case of the WHO commission on Social Determinants of Health\u201d, and participated on the panel \u201cLeaving No One Behind: Advocating for Health as the Key to Achieve the SDGs\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A\/Prof. Anna Ziersch presented on \u201cTaking action against discrimination: The health and wellbeing effects of using formal complaints processes to address discrimination\u201d and \u201cRefugee and asylum seeker housing experiences: Implications for health and wellbeing\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Toni Delany-Crowe presented \u201cRegional health planning for wellbeing and health equity \u2013 a case study from South Australia\u201d and contributed to the Health in All Policies panel session.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Sara Javanparast presented two papers from the Regional Primary Health Care Organisations project, \u201cPlanning and partnership for new migrants\/refugees health: How do Australian primary health care organisations perform?\u201d, and \u201cPopulation health planning and partnership: Comparison between Medicare Locals and Primary Health Networks in Australia\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flinders.edu.au\/medicine\/research\/centres\/centre-for-research-excellence-in-the-social-determinants-of-health-equity\/about-us.cfm\"><u>CRE for Health Equity<\/u><\/a><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> was also showcased in a workshop \u2018Generating priority for health equity in government policy agendas: Concepts, recent examples and skills development\u2019.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Adjunct status holders and regular collaborators with Southgate, <a href=\"https:\/\/research.uottawa.ca\/people\/labonte-ronald\">Prof. Ron Labonte<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/researchers.anu.edu.au\/researchers\/friel-s\">Prof. Sharon Friel,<\/a> also gave multiple presentations, including for the World Leadership Dialogues sessions, and <a href=\"https:\/\/au.linkedin.com\/in\/carmel-williams-2369aa39\">Carmel Williams <\/a>presented on \u2018Strategies for supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Lessons from SA\u2019s Health in All Policies approach\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Lori Baugh-Littlejohns presented from her Southgate PhD on \u201cApplying systems thinking in a study of regional health promotion policy and practice in
