I have had a great experience so far in Australia. It will be 2 weeks tomorrow since I first arrived in Adelaide. I can still remember flying in over the coast into the Adelaide airport. Since I’ve arrived I have been able to settle in pretty quickly, even though I had to sleep without any bedding the first night. I have made friends from all over the world, including many Australians who have been very welcoming. The international student services at Flinders University are great! They hosted events everyday the first week I was here, and have a ton of other events planned through out the semester.

During the past 2 weeks I have pet a kangaroo and hung out with koalas at a wildlife center. I have been able to go into the city, and have a good time with all of the other exchange students. The night life in Adelaide has been a lot of fun also. Even though the coarses are much different from what I am used to in the US, I haven’t had any trouble with them so far. I think the work load will be easier, since I don’t have to worry about taking so many tests.
