American trying to be Australian

Well, the dream is now a reality. I am finally in Australia! It is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.

It took me a while to get adjusted here, the jet lag was terrible and I didn’t know a single person here. I was terrified I was going to hate it. But I knew I came here for a reason, to learn about Australia while continuing my education. Now that it has been almost 2 months since I started my journey, I am so glad that I have chosen Adelaide to study!

I met so many people within the first two weeks, and I have been so blessed to get to know so many people from all around the world. I know these friendships will last a lifetime, we have been through so much together already! My favorite tour that we all did together was the Cleland Wildlife Park. That place is my favorite! I loved all the kangaroos, the dingos, and of course the koalas. I still pinch myself to see if this is a dream!

It is not a dream, I am going to school is the most beautiful country in the world. While I am enjoying all of my topics, I am super excited for my mid-semester break: Shark diving and Kangaroo Island!
