While overseas I learnt so much about the culture, history and economic situation of Malaysia as well as creating friendships with students from Flinders and UKM (National University of Malaysia) that will last a lifetime. We attended fifteen lectures regarding the history, culture and sustainability of resources in Malaysia along with some lectures on chemistry and geology. These topics are not at all what I would have chosen, but I have come away from this trip with knowledge that will benefit me greatly within my course and in my future. Experiencing the food (lots of rice, chicken and fish) and exploring different areas around Malaysia, such as Melaka and Langkawi was also incredible. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black\">For students looking to travel to study I highly recommend, Malaysia, in particular UKM. The staff and student buddies at this university were incredibly helpful and ensured that we had the best experience possible.
