If you&#8217;re uncertain and a little worried about where you might end up \u2013 I suggest applying to live on-campus, especially if you are only here for a semester or two. I love living in the DJ Village units, which is like a shared apartment. I\u2019m on the top floor so there\u2019s nice view from the balcony too. But if you don\u2019t like to cook, the Uni Hall would be a great option, as it caters your meals.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_979\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-979\" style=\"width: 360px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-979  \" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/student-exchange-experiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2014\/05\/20140503_150544_resized.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/student-exchange-experiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2014\/05\/20140503_150544_resized.jpg 360w, https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/student-exchange-experiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2014\/05\/20140503_150544_resized-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/student-exchange-experiences\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2014\/05\/20140503_150544_resized-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-979\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">My unit in the DJ Village, and it&#8217;s only one floor. There&#8217;s also townhouses, which are older and an actual house with 2 floors.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another great thing about living on-campus is the amount of students you are surrounded by. There are also a lot of social events encouraging people in the village to interact with each other. I have never once regretted my decision to live on-campus. We&#8217;re a little crazy&#8230; sometimes (:<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>PS \u2013 A lot of people complain about the buses here in Adelaide, but I&#8217;ve never really had a problem with it.
