Disability Services are seeking mentors for new students with disabilities

UniAccess Mentor

Have you been at Flinders a little while now?

Do you know your way around, know where everything is and have settled into University life well?

If so, consider perhaps helping a new student find their way around the university.

Disability Services are seeking student mentors for the UniAccess program.

You will be matched to a new student with a disability and your job will be to help them transition to university life.

Perhaps you remember what it was like when you first started. University can be a confusing place. Having a support in the early days is incredibly helpful.

In addition to a warm fuzzy feeling in your heart region, you could gain 80 points towards your Horizon award, plus professional development training, for being a mentor to a new student at Flinders. A sweet deal on your way to becoming an excellent human being.
