Be part of the Modernlife Study

ModernLife Study

I quite like taking part in research studies, if the results are relevant to me, and the time commitments are minimal.

A while back I participated in the ABC’s Science Week Smartphone Survey, along with 14,000 other people.

The survey was developed by researchers from Murdoch and Griffith Universities and was designed to measure how people use and feel about their mobile phones. You can see detailed results here.

The same research team are now seeking individuals to register their interest in the ModernLife Study. Rather than a single survey, the ModernLife Study will be a series of studies conducted over the next few years, trying to build a picture of what modern Australian life looks like.

If you register, you are essentially giving permission for the research team to contact you when they are running their next study. The only information you need to give at this stage is email address and postcode.

Note: registering your interest does not mean you have to participate in any of the subsequent surveys, just that you are happy to be contacted about them.

I personally think it is important that such studies get good representation from University students, so if it sounds like your kind of thing, register today.
