HCDS and OASIS will have a stall at Orientation week

Next week is orientation week and the teams from Health, Counselling and Disability Services (HCDS) and OASIS will have a stall at the Hub on the 25th and 26th Feb, along with all the other services and clubs within the university.

Yes, these stalls are primarily intended for new students, to inform them of the many services and opportunities available to them during the time at Flinders, but we also invite existing students to come up and say ‘hi’ also.

We’ll have our usual array of giveaways available: stress ball brains with our contact details on them, lollies, apples, condoms and flyers. Yes I realise that is a somewhat eclectic mix of items and their proximity in the same sentence is not an indication that you should attempt to use them in an integrated way.

And if the printing gods smile on me, I should have my “Getting off to a good start” guide (V1) on the table as well. I think the guide is as relevant to existing students as it is to new ones, so happy for you to come by and grab a copy. It incorporates content from a lot of our different handouts.

So come along and introduce yourself.

We look forward to the energy and excitement that goes along with orientation week!
