So Orientation Month (March) has taken a little bit of a battering, as you can imagine, because of the Coronavirus (f*&k you virus).
But all is not lost orientation wise.
- The Wellbeing Week page has been updated (and continues to be updated) with more online focused Wellbeing stuff – https://orientation.flinders.edu.au/orientation-program/wellbeing-week-2/
- The FLO topic ‘Finding Your Way At Flinders‘ has been popular and remains accessible with new wellbeing related information being added and updated regularly.
- The Flinders Support Network (FSN) will be sending out SMS to commencing students asking if they need additional support.
- Remember to read the Ping! newsletter that comes out each week as there will be many reminders in their of the various support services avaialable.
The campuses might feel like a ghost town, but remember that most of us, students and staff, are actually beavering away in our own homes or offices, getting on with the business of running the university and filling our heads with the sweet nectar of knowledge.
It might feel like a very different community at the moment, but it is still a community 🙂
