Meet the Oasis crew at Good Vibes and RUOK? events this week!

Unlike me, who hides during Wellbeing Week, the Oasis crew always put on some amazing events. I heartily recommend you check them out! Good Vibes in the Hub and RUOK? Day at Oasis.

Wellbeing Week is here, with activities happening across the week to help you pause, recharge and connect with others.

The Oasis team contacted me and asked me very kindly to promote a couple of their events this week. They were literally setting one of them up when they contacted me!

Good Vibes in the Hub

Tuesday 8 September | 11am–2pm
Student Hub, Ground Floor | Bedford Park

Drop into the Student Hub for an afternoon of positive mental health activities, creativity and connection.

You can contribute to the Gratitude Wall, try an expressive art activity, meditate with a DJ, join in some African soul drumming and explore plenty of other interactive experiences.

Whether you want to relax, try something new or simply spend some time around other people, there will be something to get involved in.

R U OK? Day at Oasis

Thursday 10 September | 11am–2pm
Oasis Wellbeing Centre and Flinders Laneway | Bedford Park

Join the Oasis team for R U OK? Day—a reminder of the value of checking in with the people around us and making space for meaningful conversations.

Look out for the Wellbeing Ambassadors in their yellow R U OK? shirts and get involved in a collaborative community window mural, African drumming and dance, prizes, giveaways, information and possibly even some ice cream.

Come along, start a conversation and help strengthen the sense of community at Flinders.

There’s plenty more happening

Oasis is also hosting meditation, free soup, conversation groups, the Community Market, a community morning tea, a forest walk, Crafternoon and other activities during Wellbeing Week.
