Mailing list open to students and staff. Updated 13\/2\/26.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Did you do the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/student-health-and-well-being\/2025\/02\/21\/opportunity-to-do-the-be-well-program\/\">Be Well Plan<\/a> here at Flinders? Or are you waiting patiently to be able to do the program?<\/p>\n<p>To remind yourself of what the Be Well Plan is, visit this <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/student-health-and-well-being\/2024\/01\/10\/opportunity-to-do-the-be-well-program\/\">post<\/a>. In short, it is a program that teaches actionable strategies for improving, protecting or repairing your mental health and resilience.<\/p>\n<p>If you answered &#8216;yes&#8217; to either question, you are eligible to join the Be Well Mailing List (go you!!)<\/p>\n<p>At this stage, it is an email distribution list of previous Be Well Plan participants <strong>+<\/strong> those who are on waiting lists to do the program.<\/p>\n<p>I send an email every 3 weeks talking Be Well concepts and mental health more broadly. The goal is to give subscribers <strong>actionable insights<\/strong> into their mental health and the activities that support good mental health [<em>Note as of 13\/2\/26 &#8211; I have sent 22 emails over time covering topics like micro-acts, languishing, writing for wellbeing and psychological flexibility<\/em>].<\/p>\n<p>Longer-term, the goal is to build a network of Flinders students, staff and alumni who share the common goal of supporting their and others&#8217; mental health. To support that networking aspect, subscribers will get first access to Be Well themed programs and seminars (when we work out how to provide them efficiently).<\/p>\n<p>Essentially, if you enjoyed the program and\/or have a keen interest in learning about mental health and how to support it, this might be the group for you.<\/p>\n<p>Signing up is easy. You&#8217;ll get notified about when the program is next running. At this stage, we don&#8217;t know when we will be able to run the program so I do recommend joining the Mailing List.
