Attend the 2020 Joblink Summits and kick-start your career!

Want to meet real employers, with real graduate jobs available? Then attend one of the Flinders Joblink Summits in late February and mid-March next year.

Have you ever heard the saying ‘it’s not what you know, but who you know?’.
It’s often the case when looking for a job. Your studies at Flinders will ensure you have the skills and knowledge you need for a job in your chosen field but, in a competitive job market, it’s often networking that can give you the edge over other graduates.

The 2020 Joblink Summits are a great way to network with employers from a range of medium to large scale companies. Some of these employers are looking to fill graduate programs with final year students and are recruiting for these now, so attending a Summit could set you up to secure a job before you even graduate.

At the Joblink Summits you will:

  • see presentations from employers
  • meet graduate employers who will talk to you about jobs they have available
  • learn what you need to do to secure a job in your sector of choice
  • make valuable industry connections.

If you are not in your final year, you’re still welcome to attend and network with the employers.
In fact, employers are often looking to fill paid vacation programs and internships, generally with students in their penultimate (second-to-last) year of study. These programs are a great way to gain experience and, in some cases, secure a graduate position too.

The following Joblink Summits are being held at the Flinders Bedford Park and Tonsley campuses. Save the dates today!
