International Student Services (ISS) invites all international students (and their families) on a day trip to the world-famous Barossa Valley wine region this Saturday, 31 August ($35 per person).

The Barossa Valley is one of the world’s greatest wine regions, renowned for its fine food and wine.

Along with visiting beautiful wineries, you’ll also get to visit the Toy Factory at Gumeracha, home of the World’s Biggest Rocking Horse, and you’ll be able to explore the secrets of the Whispering Wall. The shape and location of the 144-metre-long wall holding back the waters of the lake are responsible for its unusual acoustic properties. A message “whispered” on one side of the wall can be heard clearly on the other side.

The bus leaves from the Registry Steps (outside the Bedford Park Hub map ref K10) at 9am and returns at 5.30pm
