Revised policy released – Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response

The University’s Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Policy and procedures affirms Flinders’ commitment to creating a safe and respectful environment for work and study and its processes for receiving and responding to reports by members of its community of:

  • sexual harassment and harassment on the ground of a person’s sex
  • a workplace or study environment that is hostile on the ground of sex
  • sexual assault
  • related acts of victimisation

The policy and procedures have recently been reviewed and revised in response to legislative changes and updated surveys and guidance applicable to the higher education sector.
