R U OK? Day is on the way!

Thursday 11 September is R U OK? Day but we know that day-to-day life can change and, whether it’s us or those around us, it’s important to check in regularly and Ask R U OK? Any Day.

(This article contains references to mental health and suicide).

R U OK? Is about empowering and inspiring meaningful connection and support for anyone who might be struggling in life to provide protection from suicide. Whether it’s a family member, friend, partner or colleague we’re inviting everyone to Ask R U OK?

In recognition of R U OK?, Oasis Student Wellbeing Centre has a range of upcoming activities and pop-ups across campuses to encourage you to take some time out to connect with each other and your community, and to have an R U OK? Conversation. We are also very excited to be hosting the R U OK? Conversation Convoy at Bedford Park Campus on Wednesday September 17 and welcome everyone along for a free BBQ, fun activities and meaningful connection. Don’t worry if you can’t make it though! Come meet some of our Wellbeing Ambassadors, connect with support services, grab some FREEBIES (R U OK? cookies and merchandise) and engage in activities and conversation on one of the days and times listed below.
