We’re making an important upgrade to our Microsoft Entra accounts that will cause you to be signed out of Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word and Teams.

What’s happening?

The change will be occurring over the next few weeks from late October to early November. Between 9pm and 5am (Australian Central Daylight Time) each weeknight (will only affect each person once), and you may be logged out of apps like Outlook, Teams, and Word. The disruption is expected to last no more than 15 minutes for most users. You’ll just need to log back in once the upgrade is complete.

What to do if you encounter issues

• Try restarting your computer first.
• If you’re using a mobile device, you may need to restart it too.
• If you still can’t log in, contact the Service Desk for help.

Why this matters

This upgrade is required to allow Flinders University to take advantage of capabilities that offer additional security and improved ease of use.
