Our online google drive contains resources and information on how to promote effective learning and emotional wellbeing. While the drive was originally created exclusively for Flinders’ psychology students, we’ve now made it available to all students at Flinders.

Brain breaks

On the drive, you’ll see a section called “brain breaks”. This folder contains activities to help you unwind or take a break from studying, without falling into the hole of lying on the couch scrolling social media. In the Brain Breaks folder you’ll find motivational colouring pages, crosswords and wordsearches (some are even study related!), as well as some links to activities like online escape rooms.

Home Exercises

Exercising is great for your physical and mental health. Though, It can be difficult to get the motivation to finally start that workout routine you have been planning to do. But where to start? The drive contains videos and infographics on yoga, meditation and workout routines. These “home exercises” can guide you through creating that routine that can suit your at home lifestyle and cater to the social distancing measures.

Wellbeing workbooks

One of the great joys of the internet is the ability to find free resources. In the wellbeing workbooks folder, you’ll find some workbooks filled with activities dedicated to promoting mental wellbeing. These are great to work through casually, in your spare time, to kill boredom, help discover yourself and lift your mood.

Emotional Wellbeing

Your wellbeing during these difficult times is the most important thing to us at FPSA. We all need to make sure we are putting our wellbeing first especially when getting the hang of online learning. It’s great getting to watch your lectures in PJs but it’s been a big change and we have to adapt. The “Emotional Wellbeing” document in the drive contains several great resources such as social media pages, mental health websites and mental organisations that can help you stay on top of everything. Feeling sluggish and unmotivated? It might be your emotional wellbeing knocking at your door saying “Help me out here!”

Accessing the Drive
You can access all of the above in our FPSA Isolation Wellbeing google drive

Our Info
You can contact our welfare officers at: fpsa.welfare@gmail.com
Follow us on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/flinderspsychologystudentsassociation/
Follow us on instagram: @flindersfpsa

Virtual Escape Rooms: An Article
https://mamateaches.com/digital-escape-rooms/?fbclid=IwAR0BXqd6Dn7CdttW-JjGxpQyjNz3lRsfHdFveBScG4IcZx9cCrVwS1IcEiI

In light of recent social distancing measures and the challenges that university students are facing, the Flinders Psychology Student Association’s welfare officers have been hard at […]

[116,1448

post-395","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-all-students","category-student-wellbeing
["GET
