{"id":93,"date":"2019-08-28T10:37:39","date_gmt":"2019-08-28T01:07:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/student-news\/?p=93"},"modified":"2019-08-28T12:51:12","modified_gmt":"2019-08-28T03:21:12","slug":"barossa-valley-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/student-news\/2019\/08\/28\/barossa-valley-tour\/","title":{"rendered":"Barossa Valley Tour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>International Student Services (ISS) invites all international students (and their families) on a day trip to the world-famous Barossa Valley wine region this Saturday, 31 August ($35 per person).<\/p>\n<p>The Barossa Valley is one of the world\u2019s greatest wine regions, renowned for its fine food and wine.<\/p>\n<p>Along with visiting beautiful wineries, you\u2019ll also get to visit the Toy Factory at Gumeracha, home of the World\u2019s Biggest Rocking Horse, and you&#8217;ll be able to explore the secrets of the Whispering Wall. The shape and location of the 144-metre-long wall holding back the waters of the lake are responsible for its unusual acoustic properties.
